Size Guide

Read this first

The measurements on each individual product page always win. Fit varies a lot piece to piece, and some items come from manufacturers using non-US sizing standards, so the tag inside a garment may not match what you ordered. We size our listings to US measurements. If a product page lists a bust, waist or length, use that number rather than your usual size.

This page covers general US sizing and the fixed charts (rings) so you have a starting point.

Rings

US standard, measured as inside diameter.

US Size Inside diameter
5 0.62 in
6 0.65 in
7 0.68 in
8 0.71 in
9 0.74 in
10 0.77 in

How to measure at home: wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure the length in inches. Divide by 3.14 to get your diameter. Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest, and size up if you are between sizes.

Rings marked adjustable in the product details will fit a range and do not need a size.

Apparel

General US women's sizing. Use it as a starting point only, then check the item's own measurements.

Size US Bust Waist Hips
XS 0 to 2 31 to 32 in 24 to 25 in 34 to 35 in
S 4 to 6 33 to 34 in 26 to 27 in 36 to 37 in
M 8 to 10 35 to 37 in 28 to 30 in 38 to 40 in
L 12 to 14 38 to 40 in 31 to 33 in 41 to 43 in
XL 16 to 18 41 to 44 in 34 to 37 in 44 to 47 in

How to measure: bust across the fullest part with the tape level. Waist at the narrowest point, usually just above the belly button. Hips across the fullest part, roughly 8 inches below the waist. Keep the tape snug but not tight, and measure over bare skin or thin clothing.

Corsets, harnesses and structured pieces

Structured pieces run smaller than the same size in a stretchy fabric. If you are between sizes on a corset, bodice or harness, size up. If a piece has a lace-up or hook-and-eye back it will accommodate a range, and the range is listed on the product page.

Swimwear

Most of our swim tops have removable padding and adjustable ties, so they flex more than the size suggests. If you are between sizes, order the smaller one on a tie top and the larger one on a fixed-band top.

Shapewear

Shapewear should feel snug, not painful. Order your true size. Sizing down does not shape more, it just rolls.

One-size items

Where an item comes in a single size, we list the US size it actually maps to rather than calling it One Size, so you know before you buy whether it will fit. The measurements are in the product details.
